What is a CCIM designation?      

A Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) is a recognized expert in commercial and investment real estate disciplines. The CCIM Institute awards the designation. A CCIM is a resource to the commercial real estate owner, investor, and user, allowing them to make the best investment decisions regarding real estate.

Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designees are proficient in the areas of investment analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis, and financial analysis for commercial real estate. The primary areas in which CCIMs can help their clients include minimizing risk, enhancing credibility, making informed decisions, closing more deals, and maximizing their return on investment.

The CCIM Institute was founded in 1967; since then, 20,000 individuals have gone through its core designation program. According to the CCIM Institute, less than 10% of commercial real estate investors and advisors hold the CCIM designation, and CCIMs, on average complete 42% more transactions annually than a specialist broker, making them a more attractive resource for clients.

  • I have known Jo Dobbs ever since I listed my 55-acre tract of land just outside of Tyler. The market was very slow at the time, but with her marketing knowledge and experience, we were able to get it in front of buyers that were looking for this type of property.
